Selena tribute artist, Karol Posadas, was released on Saturday after being detained in Texas and subsequently held in a detention center.
The arrest was followed by outcry from friends and family, who set up a GoFundMe page to help her with legal fees.
According to a statement from ICE, immigration proceedings remain ongoing.
Posadas is a participant in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and was raised in the San Fernando Valley.
