Author - Abeni Moreno

Abeni Moreno is a southern California native, CSULB alumni and aspiring writer. She has contributed to publications such as: Ms. Magazine, Bitch Magazine, Left Bank Magazine and more. Her first children's book titled, "Dear Big Brother" was self-published in 2018. Dear Big Brother (based off of real childhood memories) promotes positive Chicano culture and family by featuring a little sister thanking her big brother for all the memories and lessons that helped to raise her. In addition to her creative writing, Abeni is also the host of the podcast Conscious Radio that originated in 2013 on the of CSULB airwaves. In her spare time she loves to dance bachata, meditate and hangout with her family and friends.
