A 400 year visual history of Chicano literature has been unveiled at University of California, Merced.
The visual history, which stretches from 1610 to 2020, can be found online and is likely the most comprehensive list of Chicano literature ever assembled.
The collection was put together by Manuel M. Martín-Rodríguez, who is a professor of literature at the University of California, and a founding faculty member of the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts.
Among the books, everything from Aventuras de don Chipote o cuando los pericos mamen to El espíritu del parque chicano.
